Welcome to St1cky Scrims EU! We want every lobby to be competitive, fair and fun. By joining our Discord or entering any event you agree to these rules.

Who can play

  • Free events: you must be 13 or older.
  • Paid events (anything using St1cky Coins or real money): you must be 18 or older.
  • We may ask you to confirm your age. If we find out you're under the age limit, we'll remove you from the event.

The rules

  1. Play fair. Play to win in your own lobby, on your own skill.
  2. No cheating. No hacks, aimbots, macros, modified files, or any third-party software that gives you an unfair edge.
  3. No teaming. Don't work with players outside your registered team. That includes truces, call-outs to other teams or deliberately letting someone win.
  4. No stream sniping. Don't watch another player's live stream (or get someone else to watch it) to find them or gain an advantage.
  5. No exploits. Don't use bugs, glitches or unintended game mechanics. If you find one, report it to staff. Don't use it.
  6. No toxicity. No harassment, hate speech, threats, slurs, spamming or targeting other players, in game, in voice or on Discord.
  7. No impersonation. Don't pretend to be another player, a staff member or St1cky Scrims.
  8. Respect staff. Follow staff instructions during events. If you disagree with a decision, open a ticket. Don't argue in public channels.
  9. Register accurately. Your Epic username, team and details must be correct and must be yours. One account per person. No account sharing, smurfing or playing on someone else's registration.

In-game rules: free scrims vs paid events

Free scrims and paid events have different in-game rules, because they're for different things. Free scrims are for practice and learning: we protect the endgame so everyone gets realistic late-game reps. Paid events are for tournament-style competition and play like official cups.

Fair aggression vs griefing: what's what

Allowed (never penalised when it's within the rules for that event)Not allowed
Contesting drops, fighting for loot, height or zoneTeaming: any cooperation with another team (truces, sharing info, leaving each other alone by agreement)
Third-partying a fight that's already happeningCheating: hacks, macros, unauthorised software, prohibited bug abuse
Strategic eliminations for placement or pointsStream sniping
Aggressive play and pressureGriefing: deliberately ruining the game for others *outside* the rules, e.g. breaking free-scrim zone rules, or stealing loot that isn't free
Leaking codes, faking results or evidence, manipulating prizes

Being eliminated by fair aggression isn't griefing, even if it feels harsh. Only the behaviour in the right-hand column is reported and penalised.

Free scrims

  1. No code leaks. Sharing a lobby code anywhere, including showing it on stream, means you're removed immediately and suspended under our free-event penalty system.
  2. No stream sniping, no teaming, no loot stealing.
  3. Fighting is allowed until 80 players are left alive.
  4. At 80 alive, stop fighting. No fighting until the 5th zone appears or a storm surge appears. During a surge you may eliminate players if you need to (to avoid taking surge damage).
  5. Reboots don't reset it. If the alive count goes back above 80 because of reboots, fighting does not restart. The no-fight period carries on until the 5th zone or a surge.
  6. Free loot for anyone: Bosses/NPCs, Zip Zonk Bang, the Vault and the Duck Race. Anyone may contest these. It isn't loot stealing.
  7. Supply drops belong to whoever interacts with it first.
  8. Following the no-fight period isn't teaming. It's a rule everyone follows. Making separate deals with other teams still is teaming.
  9. Report griefers in #open-a-ticket with video evidence (a clip showing the kill feed or alive count and the time). Reports without video may not be actioned.

Paid events *(on hold, pending legal review)*

  • Plays like a cup: full fighting all game. No zone rules, no kill rules, and griefing in the sense of aggressive play is allowed.
  • Still banned (permanent ban): teaming/collusion, cheating, stream sniping, code leaks, and result manipulation (including false evidence).

Scoring

Every game is scored on its own: your placement points for that game + 2 points for each elimination. Your session score is all your games added together. No caps, no bonuses.

Trios eliminations are team eliminations: 2 points for every elimination made by anyone on your team (the three players' eliminations added together).

Examples

  • Solos: 2nd place with 2 eliminations = 53 + (2 × 2) = 57.
  • Solos: 51st place with 3 eliminations = 0 + (3 × 2) = 6. Eliminations still count.
  • Trios: 1st place, team eliminations 4 + 3 + 2 = 9 → 65 + (9 × 2) = 83.
  • Trios: 5th place, team eliminations 3 → 44 + (3 × 2) = 50.
  • Trios: 26th place, team eliminations 2 → 0 + (2 × 2) = 4.

Missed games. If you don't ready up for a game, it counts as last place with 0 eliminations.

Ties are broken by: most Victory Royales, then higher average eliminations, then better average placement, then total time survived.

We may update these tables between seasons. The current version will always be posted before an event.

Teams, subs and no-shows

  • Free scrims: trios may use substitutes, with no limit, between games. Every sub must be registered with us and have their own linked Epic account (Rule 9).
  • Paid events: no substitutes. You must play with the team you registered.
  • No-shows, free scrims: no penalty. Please withdraw on the website if you can't make it.
  • No-shows, paid events: a no-show is a rule breach and means a permanent ban, like any other paid-event breach (see Penalties).

Qualifying games and Verified Competitor

  • A game counts as qualifying if there were 80 or more players in the lobby. In trios that means 80+ players, not teams.
  • Each individual scrim game you play in a qualifying lobby counts once. 5 qualifying games = Verified Competitor.
  • A game you disconnected from does not count as a qualifying game.

Disconnects

  • Free scrims: scoring is handled automatically by our results system (Yunite). A game you disconnect from doesn't count as a qualifying game. There's no penalty.
  • Paid events: a game you disconnect from doesn't count, and there's no punishment. This is the one exception to the paid-event permanent-ban rule. *(Paid events are on hold pending legal review.)*

St1cky Coins

St1cky Coins are planned for paid events only (18+, Verified Competitors). Paid events and Coins are on hold pending legal review, and full terms will be published before launch.

Results and disputes

  • Results are posted as provisional first. You have 24 hours to dispute a result by opening a ticket in #open-a-ticket with screenshots or clips.
  • We aim to decide disputes within 48 hours. Results become final after that.

Penalties

Free events. If you break a rule in a free event you'll get a warning or a timed suspension, depending on how serious it is. These are examples, and staff can decide each case on its facts:

SeverityExamplesTypical suspension
MinorLate or inaccurate registration, mild spam, ignoring staff instructions, taking loot that isn't freeWarning. 2nd Minor within 7 days = 3-day suspension. 3rd Minor within 90 days = 7-day suspension (the maximum for Minor offences)
ModerateToxicity, using an exploit, breaking the free-scrim zone rules (fighting after 80 alive)7 to 14 days
SeriousTeaming, stream sniping, impersonation, harassment, leaking a code (removed immediately)30 days or more
CheatingHacks, aimbots, macros, unfair softwarePermanent ban

While you're suspended you can't enter ANY event, free or paid, and you lose access to scrim channels on our Discord for the same period.

How Minor warnings add up: each Minor offence gets a warning. If you get two Minor warnings within 7 days, the second one becomes a 3-day suspension. If you reach three Minor offences within 90 days, the third becomes a 7-day suspension. If both apply, the 7-day suspension is used. 7 days is the most a Minor offence can ever lead to. Minor offences never turn into Moderate or higher penalties. Warnings stay on your record for 90 days, like other penalties, and can be appealed within 7 days like any penalty.

Paid events. Any rule breach in a paid event, including not showing up, means a permanent ban. (Disconnects are the exception: no punishment. See Disconnects.)

Repeat offenders can get longer suspensions or a permanent ban. A penalty (including a warning) counts towards your record for 90 days after it ends (a warning counts from the day it's given). After that it no longer counts as a previous offence. Trying to get around a suspension (for example with an alt account) also means a permanent ban.

Prizes and investigations

If we're looking into a possible breach, we may hold prizes or St1cky Coins until the investigation is finished. If we find a breach, you lose the prize.

Appeals

  • Open a support ticket in our Discord within 7 days of the penalty. Explain what happened and include any evidence, such as clips or screenshots.
  • A staff member who wasn't involved in the original decision will review your appeal.
  • Permanent bans are reviewed by the owner. Their decision is final.
